SOCIAL MEDIA

I picked out my favorite social media pieces from the dozens I’ve created. My design career began in social media and social has been an integral part to every role I’ve had since.

Starting out with static designs that followed pretty standard template layouts. The challenge was getting each one to feel unique in design that matched each branding, for instance with a cast announcement graphic. Each one of those have a standard layout, but I wanted them to feel unique to each brand. Such is more evident in the 2nd batch of graphics below.

The below graphics showcase a mix of trends and unique approaches to the same old design such as in zooming into each parts of the jean jacket to see each button (or cast member) for the Broadway Backwards event. Or, the very classic Spirit Halloween costume graphic trend.

The final grouping below shows posts with motion, all hand-done on after effects. From creating end cards with glitching that ads to the creepy vibe of the show, to a animated key art and a sitcom style opener for a production, each graphic focuses on the unique storytelling each production is showing, all while considering that I have the audience’s attention for about 2-5 seconds.
