original designs for fun

created around things that bring me joy & inspire me.

I have been on a thrift store kick. As a millennial, the Y2K era was iconic for it's styles, and now with the resurgence of popularity in the Y2K era, these bags are back in style. I photographed my bags and designed these as ads in the Y2K style for Poshmark, one of the places people can find these bags today.

I grew up listening to the All American Rejects. I was inspired by the band's new initiative "The House Party Tour". I wanted the poster to feel like an organic ad someone would see on the side of the road or tacked to a utility pole.

I used to work right above Times Square and have seen (and heard) a few of the TSX concerts from my office. I was inspired by the distinctive look and limited color palette to Madonna's new album, Confessions II that she was promoting for the concert.

I was feeling stuck creatively, and decided to challenge myself by designing something with found materials in my apartment. By limiting myself to 3 things, it helped set the stage for where I would go with this design.
